Better yet, make it a gift—use the included furoshiki cloth to wrap it in a sustainable way, and protective paper packing with seeds that you can plant to keep the natural cycle going. Makes 8 tubes of lip balm. Made in Canada.

When Michael Wiesel took a look at the DIY bath and body products his daughters had been working on, he was concerned at the mostly chemical ingredient lists. A soap maker in an earlier life, he decided to put his knowledge to use. Soon, he’d whipped up his own kits for making bath bombs, toothpaste, lip balm, you name it—all with organic, feel-good ingredients. “Nature got it right the first time,” Michael says.
